WEMA was created by two professionals who saw the same problem from different sides of the industry: many excellent hotels, venues, destinations and event businesses have strong potential, but weak visibility in the international market.

Her work focuses on hospitality marketing, destination promotion, event production & marketing, social media strategy, campaign development and business growth for brands operating across international markets.

Lana Olifer brings deep expertise in destination weddings, hospitality partnerships, international business relationships and client experience. As the founder of Lana Wedding Planner and co-owner of WEMA Global, she understands how hotels, venues and destinations are evaluated by planners, clients and industry partners.

Her background combines event production, business operations, sales, negotiations and high-level client management – giving WEMA a practical understanding of what makes a property or destination attractive in the global wedding and event market.
